Three small boats, each carrying 3-4 persons, approached and boarded the barge towed by a tug. The alert crew raised the alarm to deter the boats and informed VTIS. The individuals stole some of the barge cargo of scrap metals and escaped. After one hour, another four boats came alongside the barge and also stole some of the scrap metals cargo.
